About

ID Hospital Korea was founded in 2004 by Dr. Sang Hoon Park. The hospital is the largest plastic surgery hospital in South Korea and is a globally recognized quaternary care hospital. ID Hospital Korea was the first and only hospital-level medical institution that specializes in plastic surgery to receive certification by the South Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare (MHW) in 2018. ID Hospital has established itself as a leader in facial bone surgery, with many groundbreaking procedures being developed at this hospital and then being shared with the rest of the world. ID Hospital Korea pioneered procedures like "V-line" jaw surgery and the "wafer method" orthognathic procedure. In addition to plastic surgery, ID Hospital also offers dermatological and aesthetic dental services through their Total Beauty Solution Center. This center allows patients to obtain all of their cosmetic needs met at one location. ID Hospital Korea features cutting-edge technology including 3-D CT diagnostic systems and a positive pressure operating environment with HEPA filters, which enables the hospital to operate with zero infections. Additionally, ID Hospital Korea has its own blood bank located on site. In addition to its clinical excellence, ID Hospital Korea has become a major component of the K-beauty global phenomenon and offers all inclusive VIP medical tourism services along with customized post-operative rehabilitation programs for patients who travel to ID Hospital Korea from over 50 countries.

Infertility/IVF

Infertility/IVF

IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is a fertility treatment where eggs are retrieved, fertilized in a lab, and then transferred back into the uterus — giving couples who are struggling to conceive a real shot at pregnancy. It's joined by other options like egg donation, ICSI, embryo freezing, and genetic testing of embryos. What's changed is the access: fertility clinics in India, Spain, and Cyprus now offer the same lab technology and success rates as top US clinics, at 60–80% lower cost and with far shorter waiting times for donor programs.

Obesity/Bariatric Surgery

Obesity/Bariatric Surgery

Bariatric surgery permanently changes the size and structure of the stomach — and in some cases the digestive pathway — to help people with severe obesity eat less, absorb fewer calories, and lose weight in a way that diet and exercise alone haven't achieved. It's also one of the most effective treatments for obesity-related conditions like Type 2 diabetes and sleep apnoea. In the US, the procedure costs $20,000–$30,000 and is often not covered by insurance. In Mexico, India, or Turkey, the same surgery — laparoscopic, in an accredited hospital, with a full support programme — runs $4,000–$8,000.
