Bloods and any clearance are arranged locally or on arrival. You stop nicotine. Your coordinator books the hotel, the transfer and the surgery date, and you get a single point of contact who is a person, not a queue.
You meet the surgeon in person the day before. The plan is confirmed or revised in writing, and you decide again before anything proceeds. Surgery, then one or two nights under nursing observation.
