Procedure Time
The time for a procedure will vary greatly depending on the type of procedure being done. Liposuction for example, can run anywhere from one to three hours, whereas if you are doing an arm lift, thigh lift, or a total body lift after losing significant amounts of weight, this can be a four to six hour process or even longer.
Recovery Timeline
One to two weeks, you should be able to go about your day normally. Three to four weeks of limited activity, then you should be fully recovered. Six to eight weeks is when you should see your final result of the new shape of your body. It could take up to six months for all of the swelling to subside, so you can see the final results.
Expected Results
A more defined silhouette. Excess skin and fat will be removed, and the fat redistributed or reduced. The body will have more defined contours, which cannot be achieved through diet and exercise.
Ideal Candidates
Adults who are at or very close to their ideal or goal weight. If there are specific areas of your body that still contain excessive fat, and/or you have areas where the skin hangs loosely, and/or if you have had weight loss and now need to get rid of the remaining skin folds.
