Italian Eye Hospital

Italian Eye Hospital is a private single-specialty medical center located in Pristina, Kosovo. The clinic focuses exclusively on ophthalmology. Italian Eye Hospital was the first in Kosovo to introduce the TransPRK (SmartSurface) laser method — a 100% touch-free, flapless, and blade-free refractive procedure. This technique has become the clinic’s signature treatment, with over 4,000 successful cases performed. The clinic is also among the few in the region offering intravitreal injections with modern anti-VEGF medications, including Beovu (Brolucizumab), for treating age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Italian Eye Hospital provides care for both adults and children. Around 15,000 patients receive medical services at the clinic each year. Most visitors come from Europe, the Commonwealth, and the Balkans.
