Acıbadem Bakırköy Hospital is a multidisciplinary hospital located in the Bakırköy district on the European side of Istanbul. It was the first hospital operated by Acıbadem Healthcare Group on that side of the city, opening its doors in 2000. Acıbadem Bakırköy Hospital has Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation and includes a heliport for emergency helicopter transport. All forms of cardio-diagnostic imaging are available to cardiology patients; they include state-of-the-art equipment such as 3 Tesla MRI scanners, dual source CT scanners, digital angiography machines and ultrasound devices.
