Dr. Joo Kwon

**Dr Joo Kwon** is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who serves as the Founding CEO at JK Plastic Surgery Center in Seoul, South Korea. For over 25 years, Dr Kwon has established JK as one of Korean medical tourism’s most well-known cosmetic surgery centers and helped to previously build a bridge between Korea’s plastic surgery industry and big business by allowing foreign patients the ability to travel for his services. --- ### Professional Information - __Clinic Founded:__ 1998 (JK Plastic Surgery Center, Seoul) - __Location:__ Seoul, South Korea --- ### Innovations and Contributions As well as his many institutional roles, Dr Kwon is known nationally and internationally as a pioneer in opening Korea's plastic surgery industry to the foreign patient market. - __Medical Tourism Pioneer:__ Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare designated JK Plastic Surgery Center as the very first clinic in Korea to be fully licensed to treat foreign patients - Dr Kwon was assigned authorization code 0001.
