General Surgery

General Surgery

General surgery abroad covers hernia repair, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, thyroidectomy, colorectal surgery, and abdominal procedures using minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic techniques. These procedures address common surgical conditions with high precision, minimal scarring, and rapid recovery. General surgical costs vary greatly between countries. A [laparoscopic](https://curemeabroad.com/treatments/laparoscopic-surgery) cholecystectomy that costs $15,000 to $25,000 at home may be available for $2,000 to $5,000 abroad at equally accredited hospitals with board-certified general surgeons performing high-volume, low-complication procedures. [Leading international surgical centers](https://curemeabroad.com/) offer shorter waiting times, advanced laparoscopic and robotic capabilities, and streamlined pre-operative and post-operative care. Patients consistently report receiving more attentive surgical planning and recovery support than they experienced at home. The surgeon's laparoscopic experience and the hospital's accreditation are the most important factors. Confirm the surgeon's annual procedure volume and complication rates. Following postoperative wound care instructions, activity restrictions, and dietary guidelines directly influences recovery speed and long-term outcomes.

Gynecology Treatment

Gynecology Treatment

[Gynecology treatment](https://curemeabroad.com/treatments/gynecology-treatment/caesarean-section) abroad covers hysterectomy, fibroid surgery, endometriosis excision, PCOS management, pelvic floor repair, cervical cancer treatment, and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. Options range from diagnostic laparoscopy to complex robotic-assisted surgery for gynecologic malignancies. Gynecologic surgical costs and waiting times are major concerns in many countries. A [laparoscopic hysterectomy](https://curemeabroad.com/treatments/laparoscopic-surgery) that costs $20,000 to $35,000 at home may be available for $4,000 to $9,000 abroad at equally accredited hospitals with board-certified gynecologic surgeons experienced in minimally invasive techniques. Leading international gynecology centers offer shorter waiting times, robotic surgical capabilities, and dedicated women's health coordinators. Patients consistently report receiving more personalized care and more thorough pre-surgical counseling than they experienced at home. The gynecologist's subspecialty training and the hospital's surgical technology are the most important factors. Confirm your surgeon is certified in minimally invasive or [robotic gynecologic surgery](https://curemeabroad.com/treatments/robotic-surgery/robotic-gynecology-surgery). Recovery outcomes are significantly influenced by adherence to postoperative activity restrictions, follow-up pelvic ultrasound, and hormonal management where applicable.

So Happy, I Did This!

I'm so happy that I did this! I'm a runner, I had recently gotten back into shape after having two babies and breast-feeding, but there was still extra skin on my belly and my breasts. I was still wearing my postpartum band to go running when my youngest kid was three! So I went in for a consultation, and felt really welcome, so I ended up staying with this surgeon. I had a mastopexy with augmentation, and an abdominoplasty. I'm nine weeks out now, and I'm wearing the same jeans ...read more

So glad I found Dr. Joe! I never took prescription pain meds afterwards

Had an amazing time having my breast augmentation done with Dr. Joe. Everyone I met and/or talked during the entire process was so kind and answered all of my 1,000 questions. I never took prescription paid meds after the procedure, only Tylenol and even that was just to help with swelling. Can't wait for them to be fully healed, they already look great!

Good luck on your surgery. I think you are on the right track. You need to make certain that the surgeon takes accurate measurements of the footprint or diameter of your breast. It doesn't matter what size you are or what cup size you want to be as much as trying on the implants in the office and determining if you like that with your bra and clothing. Spend about an hour doing this with the nurse. If you are very athletic, you might want to consider putting the implant on top of the muscle, but under the fascia of the chest muscle. That way you won't get migration from muscle contraction over the years or a window shade deformity from flexion of the chest muscle. I think you're on the right track with the sizes. Remember 90% of people wish they were bigger a year later! Good luck.

You look good. Please give your implants six months to "drop and fluff". If you are under the muscle then you can only got so close and the muscle stops the implant. You need to go on top of the muscle (but under the fascia - subfascial) to obtain more reliable cleavage. Give it lots more time.
