St Mary’s Hospital London is located in Paddington, North West London. It serves as the major acute centre for North West London and runs one of London’s four major trauma centres along with a 24 hour Accident & Emergency department. It also provides medical care, surgery, critical care, maternity, children and young people’s services, end of life care and outpatient services. St Mary’s Hospital is part of Imperial College academic health science centre, established along with other academic health centres to bring together universities and healthcare providers together to focus on research and to ensure that the benefits of medical breakthroughs are passed on to the patients.
