Dr. Shyam Sunder Rao C is a skilled Consultant Nephrologist & Transplant Physician at KIMS Hospital. He completed his MBBS from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, A.P. and MD General Medicine from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, A.P. Later, he pursued his DM Nephrology from Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, A.P. Dr. Rao has extensive expertise in various aspects of nephrology and renal care. He is well experienced in performing various forms of Dialysis, including CAPD, SLED, CRRT, and Plasmapheresis. His skills also encompass Renal Transplantation, both live related and deceased donor transplants. He is proficient in conducting Renal biopsies and Allograft biopsies. Dr. Rao is skilled in procedures such as Central vein catheterizations, CAPD catheter insertions, and acute peritoneal dialysis.
