Dr. Chollasak Thirapattaraphan is an internationally trained Pediatric Surgeon with 18 years of extensive experience in the field of pediatric surgery. His areas of expertise include pediatric and neonatal surgery, making him a specialist in treating surgical conditions in children from birth through adolescence. Dr. Chollasak specializes in performing a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, circumcision, and chest wall surgery on children. His expertise in pediatric surgery allows him to provide comprehensive surgical care to children with various congenital and acquired conditions. Dr. Chollasak Thirapattaraphan completed his MD from the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, in 2006, which is one of the most prestigious medical institutions in Thailand. He then pursued a Diploma of Thai Board of Pediatrics Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, in 2011, gaining specialized training in pediatric surgical techniques. Dr. Chollasak further enhanced his expertise by gaining a fellowship in the division of transplant surgery at Children's Hospital of Chicago, USA, in 2015, which provided him with international exposure and advanced training in pediatric transplant surgery. He is a member of prestigious medical organizations including the Medical Council of Thailand and the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand, which recognize his expertise and contributions to the field of pediatric surgery. Currently serving as a Consultant Pediatrician and Pediatric Surgeon at MedPark Hospital in Bangkok, Dr. Chollasak continues to provide exceptional surgical care to children requiring both routine and complex pediatric surgical procedures, with particular expertise in neonatal surgery and transplant surgery techniques.
