Adam Shulberg

Adam Shulberg is a Senior Audiologist and the Managing Director at Cubex with over 40 years of experience. He discovered his passion for audiology at the early age of 13 when he began assisting his father with Ear Health camps in Sri Lanka and Kenya. In 1980, Adam became the youngest audiologist in the UK, graduating from the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, Gray’s Inn Road. By 1984, he had taken an active role in managing an Audiology clinic in Madrid, with additional branches in Northern and Southern Spain, concurrently establishing his presence in the UK practice. Adam holds certification as a Tinnitus Advisor by the British Tinnitus Association and is recognised as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists, and a member of the American Academy of Audiology. In 1995, Adam assumed the position of Managing Director at Cubex when the London-based clinic transitioned to New Cavendish Street, Marylebone. His journey reflects a longstanding commitment to the field of audiology and a dedication to providing high-quality care to individuals with hearing health needs. Adam's commitment to humanistic values and his personalised approach to patient care have left a lasting impact. In 2001, he initiated a sustainable Audiology program in Western Nepal, taking on the responsibility of guiding, training, and overseeing 7 Community Ear workers and over 700 volunteers. Adam firmly believes in the importance of audiology professionals possessing a profound understanding of the human dynamics linked to an individual’s hearing impairment. He invests considerable time in familiarising himself with the personal dynamics involving his patients' communication partners and families. Throughout the years, Adam has closely collaborated with the IDA Institute in Denmark, contributing to the generation of innovative and actionable knowledge regarding the human dynamics associated with hearing loss. This collaboration, along with the knowledge derived from it, has proven invaluable to the team at The Well Being BY Cubex.
