This patient is a 42 year old female who consulted with Dr. Greenberg complaining of the excess skin of her abdomen. This patient had had a prior abdominoplasty performed by another surgeon many years ago and had also subsequently had more children. She was concerned with the poor scarring from her previous tummy tuck, wished for better abdominal contour and for treatment of her stretch marks. After a thorough conversation, she elected to have a revision abdominoplasty where Dr. Greenberg addressed the poor scarring, redundant skin of her abdomen, and abdominal wall laxity from her pregnancies. As you can see from her 5 month post-operative photo, she has achieved significantly better abdominal contour and great improvement of her tummy tuck scar and stretch marks.

This 37 year old female consulted with Dr. Greenberg for a full tummy tuck to address the excess skin of her abdomen. Unaware of the degree of separation of her abdominal wall muscles, this patient while dedicated to working out 3-4 times per week was frustrated with seeing little improvement in the appearance and definition of her midsection after having two children and two c-sections. The patient understood that an abdominoplasty would be the best surgical option for her to achieve a flat and more defined midsection but that she may still have stretch marks that would require a possible laser treatment once fully healed to improve. After discussing the procedure in great detail with Dr. Greenberg, she elected to have a full tummy tuck and now 6 months post-op is thrilled with her enhanced body contour and the ability to wear tight fitting clothing and run around with her children.
