Rhinoplasty
Can you identify the four major issues with this patients nose? They are: 1)a plunging tip 2)a dorsal hump 3)a bulbous tip 4)no tip projection. Male rhinoplasty surgery possesses different demands as compared to female rhinoplasty surgery, as the goal is to fashion a natural yet masculine nose. I crafted a columnar strut to create projection and to stop the tip from plunging. I also performed a small trim of the cephalad portion of the lower-lateral cartilages to produce appropriate tip detail. In addition, the bump was filed and the nose made more proportionate overall.
Rhinoplasty
Even though this patient is freshly postop and therefore still swollen, the underlying changes can begin to be seen in the reduction of the width of her nose. She had a very unusual configuration and her result will only improve with time and the reduction of her swelling.
