Hospital das Clínicas da Universidade de São Paulo (HC-FMUSP) is the largest and most prestigious hospital complex in Latin America, located in São Paulo, Brazil. Founded in 1944, it serves as the primary teaching hospital for the University of São Paulo’s Faculty of Medicine, and operates as a public institution under the State Health Secretariat. Spanning over 600,000 square meters, HC-FMUSP comprises eight specialized institutes and two auxiliary hospitals, offering more than 2,200 beds. Its institutes include the Heart Institute (InCor), Children’s Institute (ICr), Orthopedics and Traumatology Institute (IOT), Psychiatry Institute (IPq), Radiology Institute (InRad), and others, each dedicated to high-complexity care and research in their respective fields
