Rajeshwar Krishnan

Mr Rajesh Krishnan is a highly experienced consultant urological surgeon who specialises in urethral reconstruction and minimally invasive treatments for urinary stone disease. He has extensive knowledge and understanding of urological problems and treatments, having worked in the field for over 25 years. In addition to providing a comprehensive urological service, Mr Krishnan specialises in reconstructive urology and paediatric urology. He regularly performs paediatric urological procedures such as circumcision, orchidopexy and inguinoscrotal surgery. Following his qualification from the KG Medical College, India, Mr Krishnan undertook his general surgical training in India and the UK before joining the East Kent Hospital University Foundation Trust, where he has worked for over ten years. During this time, he established the subspecialty of urethral reconstruction and is the only surgeon in Kent who performs the procedure. Mr Krishnan previously headed the Stone and Paediatric Urology services at Kent and Canterbury Hospital and he is currently an honorary senior lecturer at the GKT Medical School.
