Joseph Abbott

Mr Joe Abbott is a chiropractor based at Nordic Balance, Wimbledon Village. He holds a Masters degree from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and has worked in clinics and high-level sports clubs in London and across the southwest, giving him a wealth of experience in his field. Joe is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing cricket, as well as training for ultramarathons with his dog. He has experienced first-hand the benefits of chiropractic treatment following various sporting injuries himself and is passionate about helping others recover from their pain. He believes in the power of chiropractic to help return individuals to full mobility and functionality, and with his personal experience of injury he is able to empathise with his patients regarding their injuries. Joe takes his clients' overall physical, emotional, and social well-being into account when making an assessment. He offers various treatment techniques, from spinal manipulation to various soft tissue or rehabilitation techniques, and medical acupuncture. He believes in empowering patients by educating them about their injuries and bodies, to help support full recoveries and prevent further injury. He also provides advice on self-help therapies as well as lifestyle changes that can support recovery. Joe regularly works with professional Cricketers and rugby players and is well-versed in the treatment of sport-related injuries.
