About

Dr.Vidyamani is one of the senior-most obstetricians and gynecologists in Karnataka. With a career spanning 44 years both in India and abroad, she is highly experienced and qualified. She completed her MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College, Madras University in 1972. She went for her higher studies to the UK in 1973 and worked in the NHS at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Women's Hospital, Birmingham. She obtained her membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, London (MRCOG) in 1980 and her fellowship (FRCOG) in 1994. On her return to India in 1982, she joined Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) as Asst. Professor in OBG and later promoted to Professor & Head of a department. She completed her DNB from Delhi in 1986. She has been an undergraduate and postgraduate examiner of Bangalore University and taught medical students for eight years. Dr. Vidyamani established Lalbagh Nursing Home in Jayanagar in 1990 to serve the healthcare needs of women. She later started Lalbagh IVF Centre in 2007 to help couples achieve their dream of parenthood. Dr. Vidyamani is a specialist in fertility enhancing laparoscopic surgeries, hysteroscopy and assisted reproduction techniques such as IUI, IVF & ICSI. She has delivered thousands of babies in her four-decade career. She was awarded the prestigious Rajyotsava Award by the Govt. of Karnataka in 2005 for her services to women's healthcare. Services
