Dr. Ruchi Gaba

Dr. Ruchi Gaba is an accomplished Assistant Professor at Amrita Hospital, specializing in Pediatrics. Her impressive academic journey includes obtaining degrees such as MBBS and MD (Pediatrics) from prestigious institutions in India. With an extensive career spanning over 8 years following her MD, Dr. Gaba is a highly experienced and knowledgeable Pediatrician. She completed her post-graduate training and earned an MD degree from the renowned Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur. During her training, Dr. Gaba had the privilege of honing her skills across all subspecialties of Pediatrics at the distinguished JK Lon Hospital, one of India's largest Pediatric centers. After completing her MD, she contributed as a Senior Resident in the corporate sector before becoming an integral part of the team at Hindu Rao Hospital and North Delhi Medical College. Dr. Gaba's commitment to advancing medical knowledge is evident through her role as a Senior Research Fellow at the esteemed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Her research work at AIIMS encompassed a variety of crucial projects, including those related to Cystic Fibrosis, Asthma, Tuberculosis, Dengue, and other infectious diseases. Prior to her tenure at Amrita Hospital, Dr. Gaba lent her expertise to the private sector as a dedicated Consultant in the field. Her specialized focus areas include Nutritional disorders in children, Immunization strategies, Breastfeeding support, Growth and developmental assessments, Management of Infectious diseases, Asthma treatment, and Nephrotic syndrome care. Dr. Gaba has furthered her professional acumen by achieving certification in Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), underscoring her commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Her contributions and dedication have been recognized with awards, including a Silver medal for her noteworthy paper presentation on "Seroprevalence of Hepatitis C in Thalassemia major patients" at an event in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
