Dr. Mahmoud Salah

Dr. Mahmoud Salah is a Vascular Surgery Consultant and serves as the Head of the Vascular and Diabetic Foot Surgery Department at Saudi German Hospital, Jeddah. With 45 years of experience in vascular and endovascular surgery, Dr. Salah specializes in various procedures, including arterial bypass, angioplasty with stent, balloon angioplasty, carotid artery endarterectomy, laser surgery, radiofrequency treatments, and kidney transplantation surgery. He is a member of prestigious organizations such as the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) and the Vascular Society of Egypt (VSE). Dr. Salah is also a licensed consultant recognized by the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK. Dr. Salah's expertise extends to the management of diabetic foot and gangrene, treatment of varicose veins with laser and injection, treatment of lower limb ischemia by catheterization, treatment of arterial aneurysms, arterio-venous access for hemodialysis, aortic surgery, surgical bypasses central and peripheral, treatment of arterial occlusion, treatment of venous ulcers, and carotid artery stenting. Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Salah has achieved significant milestones, including a PhD in General & Vascular Surgery, an Endovascular Surgery Fellowship from Kiel University, Germany, and a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS), Ireland. He has also worked as a Vascular Surgery Consultant and Transplant Surgeon at Nasr City Hospital, Egypt, and held positions at various hospitals in Egypt, the UK, and the USA. Dr. Salah's accomplishments include performing over 5000 different vascular surgery interventions with innovative techniques and serving as the Head and President of the International Conference on Vascular Surgery for 17 years.
