Dr. Kavirayani Krishnamurthy is a renowned and senior Psychiatrist from India and is a retired Professor of Psychiatry. He has been associated with the medical field for over 50 years and more than 40 years in the field of Psychiatry. In his experience; he has garnered the role of being a Clinician, Academician, and an Administrator and has managed to extensively work in private and public sectors. He successfully completed his MBBS from Andhra University and later went onto completing his MD in Psychiatry from NIMHANS, Bangalore University. His main interests and specialisations lie in Psychotherapy, Social Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. Linguistically, his proficiency and fluency is excellent in English, Hindi, and all major South Indian Languages like Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil & Telugu, which gives him an edge while conversing with a variety of people from all socio-geographical-economic backgrounds.
