Mr Awwad M Awwad is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon at the Bupa Cromwell Hospital, London. He trained in reconstructive plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery and microsurgery in centres of excellence in the UK (Canniesburn Hospital, Glasgow) and Denmark (Aarhus University Hospital), and undertook pioneering research which led to ground-breaking results in blood-flow, flap, transplant and micro-surgery field. Mr Awwad's reconstructive surgery procedures include complex wound management and healing and skin reconstruction. In aesthetic surgery, he offers facial rejuvenation, body contouring, breast redefining surgery, reduction and augmentation. Mr Awwad was among the pioneers who introduced the notion of non-surgical rejuvenation as a viable alternative to surgical enhancement. He is an advisor to leading product companies in the area of medical aesthetics and he is actively involved in advanced research in this developing area.
